In order to have healthier children in La Guajira, those under 16 years of age had the opportunity to attend a free Pediatric Urology clinic that took place on May 23, 24, and 25 at the “Nuestra Señora del Pilar” Hospital in the municipality of Barrancas in La Guajira.

Improving eyesight with operations

Cerrejón’s health brigade, with the support of the Hospital “Nuestra Señora del Pilar” of Barrancas and the Lions Club – Monarch, of Barranquilla, initiated the process for controlling and correcting any vision ailments caused by diseases, thus officially launching its Mobile Health Unit.

Albania and Dibulla Champions of the Young Talents Tournament

Converting a penalty, the Albania team became champion of the Pony category in the ninth Young Talents Tournament. The Dibulla team won first place in the Children´s category with a score of 2-1, in an exciting and hard-fought match where the teams exhibited the traits that lead them to the finals.
